So this was one of the other cakes we got at Zoë Cafe – Opera:
Ok the fork looks massive, but again the servings aren’t super generous but it’s satisfying enough (especially when you have several).
A classic with cake and pastry connoisseurs, their take on the opera cake involved 2 layers of coffee sponge with cream and a rich chocolate ganache layer on top. It was pretty good, though following the truffle cake it was pretty hard to compare in chocolate intensity. Still, not a bad effort though.
